CAN is continuing to improve our commitment to health and well-being.
Hazel Farnell has recently undertaken a NEBOSH qualification in the Management of Health and Well-being, to better understand how to promote this within the company.
Employees will be asked for their input into developing a plan of action in the coming months. If you have any suggestions in the meantime, please get in touch.
We are continuing to promote mental health awareness within CAN. Mental health awareness sessions have been held at both the Jersey site and Heads of the Valley site. A third session was held for office staff in Chesterfield this month.
Bob Smith is now a mental health first aider for CAN Structures. We are looking to train more of the site based management as mental health first aiders in the coming months.
If you have any concerns over anything mentioned above, then please get in touch with one of the first aiders (Hazel Farnell, Sam Crawford, Tim Nixon or Bob Smith).
