CAN Structures Ltd was awarded a 3-year contract to undertake façade inspections on 136no. high rise structures across Glasgow. Repair programmes were then generated from the inspection report findings.

CAN subsequently mobilised their repair teams using specialised rope access techniques in order to undertake various concrete and render repair works.

Site works faced several challenges over the course of the project, with the repair elements being affected by adverse weather conditions and control of pedestrians and third parties as the works were undertaken in residential locations.

CAN was subsequently awarded a further 2-year extension to the ongoing inspection, maintenance and repair strategy across all 136 sites.
