Supporting CBRE Ltd over 12 weeks in London
CAN carried out brickwork and masonry repairs to the Thames Court river wall in Central London, helping restore the condition of the structure while working around daily tidal changes.
CAN was instructed by CBRE to conduct brickwork and masonry repairs to the Thames Court river wall in Central London.
The project consisted of jet washing 525 square metres of river wall to remove vegetation and expose the working areas, followed by removal and reinstatement of defective pointing and damaged brickwork.
To ensure debris was contained and did not pollute the watercourse, CAN technicians employed an underslung containment system to capture any arisings.
CAN technicians needed to adopt a flexible working arrangement enabling them to follow the daily change in the tidal variations, which impacted site access. CAN completed the works with minimal disturbance to the general public and to the complete approval and satisfaction of the client’s contract administrator.
