Working with Capital Consulting over 8 weeks in Chelsea, London
CAN carried out façade inspections and safety surveys across four residential tower blocks on the Silchester Estate in Chelsea. The findings helped the client identify potential hazards, prioritise repairs and plan future maintenance, leading to the award of a second phase of works.
CAN Structures Limited was instructed to undertake the inspection and safety surveys of 4 residential tower blocks on the Silchester Estate, Chelsea, London.
The purpose of the inspections was to assess the condition of the building façade, as loose and potentially dangerous defects had begun to concern building management.
The façade inspections were undertaken using specialised rope access techniques. This identified and recorded the type, location and size of the façade defects, allowing the client to prioritise future repairs.
Following the successful Phase 1 inspections, CAN was subsequently awarded Phase 2 of the inspection works.
