Working with Veolia for 3 Weeks in South-East London
Refurbishing industrial assets often means working around live operations. At SELCHP, CAN used specialist rope access techniques to restore the boiler house façade, completing the works safely and on schedule while the plant remained fully operational.
CAN was contracted with the cleaning, preparation and recoating to the front façade of SELCHP, an energy from waste plant located in South-East London.
Using industrial rope access techniques, CAN Operatives mechanically removed loose and flaking paint and degreased the surface in preparation for recoating to the front facade of the boiler house. Spanning 573 sqm, the façade was further recoated using a Girocote primer and cladding paint system.
The boiler house remained operational for the duration of the works and was completed on schedule to the client’s satisfaction.
