CAN carried out external building safety inspections across 19 residential high-rise blocks in Enfield, providing the client with detailed condition reports to support planned repairs and ongoing maintenance.
CAN was contracted to undertake external building safety inspections across 19 residential high-rise blocks in Enfield, North London.
Using rope access techniques, CAN operatives conducted visual defect surveys and hammer-sounding tests on the brickwork and concrete of the external façades of all 19 blocks.
A report was collated for the client, which included the type, location, and size of all defects. These were recorded on elevation drawings, with photographs detailing the extent of cracks in the brickwork and spalling of the mortar and concrete to allow the client to make appropriate repairs and maintenance based on the findings.
Inspections and reports were completed within the agreed schedule, and CAN has since been awarded work for phase 3 of the inspections in Enfield.
