CAN carried out a detailed inspection of the internal concrete wall within the CAP 25 Storage Tank at the Isle of Grain. The findings enabled targeted concrete repairs to be completed while minimising disruption to ongoing operations across the site.
CAN Structures was instructed to undertake an inspection of the 290 linear metre internal concrete wall to the 190,000 cubic meter CAP 25 Storage Tank, at Isle of Grain, Kent.
Live Inspection data was collected on a daily basis via CAN’s digital inspection application, and all inspection data was issued in a report to the client for review. Concrete repairs were identified, and these works were subsequently undertaken by the team.
CAN utilised rope access techniques in combination with bespoke CAN-Span access platforms to complete the work with minimum impact on other site operations.
